Our boat trips begin along the Spiaggia della Purità and the ancient city walls of the old city of Gallipoli with its majestic ramparts, once a refuge from enemy attacks. During the navigation, we will tell you fascinating stories and curious anecdotes that characterised the “Città Bella” over the centuries.

~ REGIONAL NATURAL PARK
The Regional Natural Park, established in 2006, is a protected area on the Ionian coast of Salento, an oasis of peace and unspoilt nature. Located just a few kilometres from the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, it consists in two reserves: the Island of Sant’Andrea and the Punta Pizzo coastline.
The first stop of our itinerary will be the Island of Sant’Andrea, a symbol of Gallipoli, located a few kilometres from the city’s coastline. We won’t be able to physically land on the islet, as it is a protected area designed to safeguard the Corsican seagull species and native plants. Nevertheless, our experience will begin with a dip in the surrounding crystal-clear water and then continue with snorkelling to admire its coral-rich seabed.
We will continue our tour by tasting a typical Salento aperitif accompanied by a glass of wine and turning towards the Punta Pizzo coastline, an unspoilt landscape not far from Punta della Suina. Here it will be possible to appreciate the multifaceted nature of the area, characterised by soft, white sand alternating with rocky shores, crystal-clear waters and a pine forest, populated by plant species typical of the Mediterranean maquis. Once again, it will be possible to dive into the transparent waters of Gallipoli. Enriched by this wonderful adventure, we will return to mainland, landing in the Seno del Canneto.
~ GALLIPOLI SUNSET TOUR
Would you like to experience an unforgettable moment during your holiday? The sunset tour is just the thing for you. On this excursion you will witness the unmissable experience of the Gallipoli coastline as day falls. Our tour will set sail from the Seno del Canneto, a small harbour amidst the beauties of Gallipoli: the Canneto Sanctuary, the Angevin Castle, the Greek Fountain, the small church of Santa Cristina and the 17th-century bridge, which connects the new town to the old one. As we turn our direction towards the island of Sant’Andrea, we will pass between two islets known as “Il Campo” and “Lo Scoglio dei Piccioni”, which encircle the city walls. Here will have the opportunity to take a swim and enjoy a delicious Salento aperitif accompanied by a good glass of wine. We will then head to the Island of Sant’Andrea, where we will stop to admire the twilight and take some unique souvenir photos. After this moment, we will return to the small harbour that introduced us to this unforgettable experience.
~ GALLIPOLI SEEN FROM THE EYES OF A SEAGULL*
Imagine a beautiful sunny day, spent aboard a boat. In the background a centuries-old city, enclosed by its 16th-century defence walls as if it was a precious treasure chest. Listening to a story from a privileged location and identifying with the ancient inhabitants of that city. You will be taken on an exclusive journey to discover the city that once was the emporium of Europe: Gallipoli “the beautiful”, as its Greek name suggests. You will hear the history of this city surrounded by the sea and the one of its fortifications. You will be enchanted to hear the story of its deep devotion, linked to the oratories that line its walls, and you will sail in crystal-clear waters, caressed by the sea breeze.
*This tour has an extra total cost of €110.00, which must be added to the standard group or private costs indicated in the technical information and apportioned according to the number of passengers booking it.

~ USEFUL THINGS TO KNOW:
- It is advisable to bring sun cream.
- If the weather conditions do not allow for a safe tour, the tour will be postponed on the following days or, if it cannot be postponed for demonstrable reasons (departures and/or serious impediments), a full refund of the sums already paid will be made.
- All animals with life jackets are allowed on board (accessory not supplied)
- English-speaking tour guide available on request.
